Topped with slivered almonds. Serve with sour cream or fruit sauce.

Ingredients
Topping:
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp. Ground cinnamon
Kugel:
1/2 lb. medium egg noodles
4 large eggs
8 oz. Cream cheese, room temperature
1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
Directions
- Prepare topping by mixing all ingredients and set aside.
- Cook noodles al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Beat eggs, cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, butter and salt at medium speed with electric mixer, 5 minutes.
- Combine pineapple, noodles and egg mixture and pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees (F).
- Remove kugel from oven and sprinkle with topping. Bake 15 minutes more or until set and golden brown.
