Easy to make nut cookies work well for Rosh Hashana or Passover. Prepare as described or form into holiday themed shapes.

Ingredients

2 cups walnuts, finely ground
3/4 cups almonds, finely ground
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp orange peel, finely grated
1 egg, beaten

Directions

  1. Mix together walnuts, almonds, sugar, cinnamon orange peel and eggs in order.
  2. Form small balls (walnut sized) and bake on un-greased cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 350 degrees (F).
