Almond Macaroons

A nice treat during Passover.

Ingredients

1 cup almond paste
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup confectioner's sugar

Directions

  1. Grease and flour a cookie sheet, removing any excess flour.
  2. Break up paste into blender. Add egg whites, salt and vanilla and beat at low speed until smooth.
  3. Slowly add sugar and continue to blend until dough forms.
  4. Place rounded spoonful onto cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees(F) for 20 minutes.
