Cinnamon Cookies

These flavorful sugar cookies are both parve and easy to make. Prep time does not include resting time for dough.

Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour, sifted
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup superfine sugar
2 tsp. finely grated lemon peel
1 tbl. cinnamon

Directions

  1. Put flour in a large bowl leaving a well in the center. Add vegetable oil, sugar and grated lemon peel to well and mix, kneading well.
  2. Arrange a dozen flattened dough balls on an oiled baking sheet and let stand for 30 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle cookies with cinnamon and bake for 20 minutes at 350F.
