Ingredients
3 cups sifted cake flour
2 cups sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
4 eggs
1/4 teaspoons salt
1 cup Water
1 cup shortening (pareve)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- Cream shortening until smooth.
- Gradually add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with water.
- Add vanilla.
- Bake in cake pan for 25 minutes in a medium oven.
