Sephardic cookie great for Shabbat! Prep time does not include refrigerating dough.

Ingredients

1 cup margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sesame seed
1/4 cup chopped nuts (your preference)

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients and refrigerate for three hours.
  2. Form dough into round balls the size of a large walnut.
  3. Place on a cookie sheet (ungreased) and flatten dough balls (the bottom of a glass jar works well)
  4. Bake at 350 degrees (F) until golden brown.
