Ingredients

1- 4 TO 8 LB BRISKET
1 LARGE BAG OF BABY CARROTS(CAN SUBSTITUTE REGULAR CARROTS CLEANED AND CUT ON DIAGONAL)
1 LARGE ONION (SLICED)
CELERY (2 TO 5 STALKS FROM CENTER)
POTATOS (I ADD AS MANY AS I CAN FIT ON TOP OF MEAT IN A DUTCH OVEN)
CHICKEN BROTH[AS MANY CANS AS NEEDED TO COVER MEAT]
LAWRYS SEASON SALT
GARLIC POWDER
PARSLEY

Directions

  1. PUT DUTCH OVEN ON TOP OF STOVE ON HIGH.
  2. GENEROUSLY SHAKE LAWRYS,GARLIC POWDER,AND PARSLEY ON THE BOTTOM OF THE POT.
  3. PLACE MEAT IN ,FAT SIDE DOWN ,TO SEAR IT. ABOUT 4 MINS.
  4. WHILE THE MEAT IS SEARING ON FAT SIDE,PLACE THE SAME MIXTURE ON TOP OF THE SIDE FACING YOU.
  5. TURN MEAT OVER AND SEAR THE OTHER SIDE.
  6. THEN: DOWN HEAT TO LOW.
  7. PLACE SLICED ONIONS ON TOP AND SIDES OF MEAT.
  8. SLOWLY POUR SOUP ON TOP OF MEAT.
  9. THEN ADD:CARROTS, CELERY, POTATOES [THE POTATOES MUST BE PEELED AND CUT IN HALF]ON THE TOP OF THE REST OF THE VEGGIES,AND LIGHTLY SPRINKLE WITH LAWRYS.
  10. I COOK MY BRISKET FOR AT LEAST 3 HOURS ON LOW.[BUT FOR REALLY SCRUMPTOUS MEAT I COOK IT ABOUT 6 TO 7 HOURS.]
  11. IT COMES OUT SOFT AS BUTTER
  12. OH YEAH. YOU CAN USE ANY FLAVOR WINE,RED OR WHITE,IN PLACE OF THE SOUP,AND IT COMES OUT JUST AS DELISH.
  13. HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYBODY
