Sephardic Noodle Cake Dessert

This is simple and differently delicious, and people really are amazed how good this tastes. Please only use fine egg noodles! However, rice sticks or rice noodles make this a gluten free recipe

Ingredients
3/4 pound fine egg noodles-
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup honey
cinnamon and sugar if desired
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Cook noodles in salted water until al dente.
- Drain thoroughly, but DO NOT RINSE.
- Pack into a shallow pan and leave to cool.
- When cold and firm, turn out and cut into squares.
- Arrange on a greased baking sheet and cover each slice with nuts.
- Poured warmed honey over each piece and bake 20 minutes or well heated
- Serve warm or room temperature
- Yield depends on size and cut of squares
