Veal Cutlets in Wine Sauce

Ingredients

2 lbs. veal cutlets
Salt and pepper
2 tablespoons oil
1/4 cup of chopped onion
3/4 cup sliced mushrooms (1 can)
1 tablespoon minced parsley (dried ok)
2 tablespoons flour
1-1/2 cups stock or beef bouillon
1/4 cup wine--Sauterne
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

  1. Sprinkle cutlets with salt and pepper, cut in pieces
  2. Fry in fat until brown on both sides and remove to casserole
  3. To fat in fry pan add onions, mushrooms, parsley and cook for a few minutes
  4. Stir in and brown flour
  5. Add remaining ingredients. Cook until smooth and thick, stirring constantly.
  6. Pour over cutlets, bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, covered
