Ingredients
1 large head of lettuce or 2 small
5 stalks of celery
1 medium red onion
1 can of Le Sueur peas
1 pt. Hellmans mayonnaise
1 pkg. Sweet 'n Low
1 box parmesan cheese (8 oz.)
Directions
- Wash lettuce the day before, put in plastic bag
- Shred or tear lettuce into small pieces
- Put in trifle bowl
- Dice celery, put over lettuce
- Cut onion paper thin, separate into rings, put over celery
- Drain peas well and put over onions
- Mix mayonnaise with Sweet 'N Low and put overpeas
- Then add almost the whole container of parmesan cheese
- Scover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate 24 hrs.
