Apple Crunch Cake

Ingredients

2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 cups oil
2 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cups apples, sliced
1 cup chopped nuts (your preference)
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup kosher Brandy

Directions

  1. Sift together flour, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and soda.
  2. Mix oil, eggs and sugar.
  3. Add flour mixture to oil mixture and mix well. Add apples, nuts, vanilla and brandy; mix again. Batter will be very stiff like cookie dough.
  4. Spread into lightly greased 13x5x2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 40 minutes.
