Noodles with Cheese and Butter

This recipe calls for egg noodles and cottage cheese but can easily be made with other types of noodles and cheeses.

12 oz. egg noodles (or use elbow noodles or shells)
1 quart cottage cheese (can replace with cheddar or mozzarella)
1 tbl. butter or margarine
1/4 tsp. cinnamon (or use sugar instead)
1/2 cup raisins (optional)


  1. Prepare noodles according to package directions
  2. Drain and return to the pot.
  3. Add butter and stir until melted.
  4. Add cottage cheese, cinnamon and raisins and stir over low heat until cheese melts and mixture is heated through.
