Ingredients
4 liters 2% fat milk
1 cup sugar
1 tin condensed milk
20 grams pistachios, soaked, skinned and thinly sliced
10 grams almonds, soaked, skinned and thinly sliced
20 grams raisins
10 cardamom pods, ground
ΒΌ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Directions
- Pour the milk in a large container and bring to a boil over high heat. Stir continuously until about half of the original quantity remains.
- Add sugar and condensed milk, and keep stirring until the sugar completely dissolves.
- Add sliced pistachios, almonds, raisins, cardamom and nutmeg powder. Mix well and remove from heat.
- Let Basundi cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally. Pour into a
- decorative dish, cover and refrigerate.
- Serve cold.
