Ingredients

1 apple, peeled, cored and sliced
Juice and grated rind of 1/2 lemon
3 bananas, sliced
Juice and grated rind of 1/2 orange
10 pitted dates
Matzah meal
1/2 cup of nuts
sugar or honey, to taste
1/2 cup dry red wine
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

  1. Place the apple, bananas, dates, nuts, lemon rind and orange rind (along with their juice) into a blender or food processor and blend at medium speed.
  2. Transfer to a bowl and add wine and cinnamon.
  3. Add enough matzah meal to thicken the haroset.
  4. Add sugar or honey.
