Whenever I visit Israel, I enjoy drinking mint tea (“tea with nana”) with my family. It is much more refreshing than coffee! Make sure you use whole mint leaves.

Ingredients

8 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. mint leaves
4 shakes lemon salt
5 cups boiling water
4 tea bags

Directions

  1. In a teapot or carafe put sugar, tea bags, mint leaves, and lemon salt.
  2. Add boiling water, cover and let steep.
