I love these at the synagogue after shabbat services!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
2/3 cups Powdered sugar
1 1/2 sticks Butter, softened
3 Eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
3 tablespoons Flour
1/4 cups Lemon juice

Directions

  1. In bowl combine flour, sugar and butter and place into 9X13 pan.
  2. Bake for 20 minutes in a 350F oven.
  3. While it is baking, whisk together eggs, flour, sugar and lemon juice.
  4. Pour over crust and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
  5. Cool and sprinkle with additional powdered sugar.
  6. cut into squares.

These are wonderful lemon bars. The texture is very good and the taste is also wonderful. I would rate them a five star, but I personally don't think that there was enough lemon juice in them. I like my "bars" really lemony and tart. If I remember correctly, I put a Tablespoon of lemon juice in this recipe. ☻ Thanks for sharing it with us all!! ☻☻☻☻
