Spanish Hamburgers

These little meatballs go well with rice or pasta.

Ingredients

3 pounds of ground beef
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbl Italian seasoning
3 tsp garlic powder
3 tsp onion powder
1 cup bread crumbs
1 14 oz. can tomato sauce
Olive oil, for browning

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients thoroughly and shape into small oval burgers.
  2. Cover bottom of fry pan with olive oil. Preheat oil and brown the burgers on both sides.
  3. Add a can of tomato sauce (14-15 oz size), sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes.
