1/2 cups sugar
1/4 pounds butter
1 can (8 ounce) almond paste
3 eggs
2 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoons salt
2 1/2 tablespoons Cherry Brandy


  1. Cream butter and sugar in electric mixer and add almond paste and beat for three minutes (until very fluffy).
  2. Add eggs, one at a time and continue beating for fifteen minutes. Add flour, salt and Brandy. Beat three more minutes.
  3. Pour into an 8 inch pan that has been oiled and floured and lined with wax paper.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 45 minutes.
  5. Let cool then refrigerate for 2 hours.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
