Milk drink recipe from Morocco but is also popular throughout the Middle East and India.

Ingredients

2 red eating apples
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons rosewater or orange flower water (scant teaspoons)
2 cups cold milk
Shaved ice

Directions

  1. Peel and cube the apples. Place in the blender with sugar, perfumed water and milk. Blend at high speed 15 seconds.
  2. Serve, with shaved ice in small glasses.
